Feast of St. Lawrence

Every year, on the 10th of August, Vrboska celebrates the feast of St. Lawrence. Residents of Vrboska solemnly celebrate the feast of St. Lawrence, deacon, martyr and heavenly protector of this place. At the end of the Mass, there is a magnificent procession with a statue of St. Lawrence, carried by the brothers of the Miraculous St. Cross from Vrboska. The festivities begin in the evening when you can enjoy a large selection of specialties and local wine, and live music until late at night.
